Now that our season is done (except the pizza parties) I'm finally posting some fall soccer pictures. This was TW's first time to play, and though he was a little shy, he loved it and LOVED Coach Mooney. He made one breakaway goal and was so proud (especially since TJ has never made a "goalie") His group was all fun and no stress for us--in one game, a little girl even picked the ball up and moved it over after she missed a goal so she could try again. Pure fun!

I love the age when sports are innocent, fun ways of learning how to interact with others. What a good way to learn how to keep trying and not get discouraged, to learn that winning isn't everything. I played in a soccer league when I was a kid that did not keep score and we got to go out for a treat after every game, all teams. I think competition and keeping score should wait till at least junior high.
So glad TW had a great first season, he looks like he had a blast!
such a cutie!!! in the pics he doesn't look like he got his momma's coordination... ;)
Super cute!!!! Go, TW!
