Phone woes

Just in case you're wondering, our phone is still out with no end in sight. E spoke with the local repair manager and found out they have over 300 service calls and only 12 technicians (or something like that)....sigh....I guess this is all fallout from our February snows and snowplows severing wiring. At least our DSL still works for the moment and we can get voicemail messages. It's hard on me not being able to chat, though! I would not make a very good pioneer woman. Ha! I need a social lifeline! Poor E has to hear all the venting at the end of the day that I would normally share with you all....:) You would think I would be getting more done, but I'm not. At least maybe my kids are getting more attention and eye contact. You may call our cells, but they don't work in the house too well. I have to go stand by the garage to hear.

So, news:

House: We're listing the house again this week. That means whirlwind cleaning for me the next couple of days so we can take new gorgeous pictures. We got the office moved up to the old nursery and it is really nice and peaceful. The filing cabinets and junk are all we have left to move. Please sell!! I'll never be all the way ready to move, but I'm sure ready to not have the house on the market anymore.

Kids: School is going, although with not great motivation on anyone's part. :) Only 8 weeks left! TW started T-ball practice last night (and had fun) and TJ's soccer practice starts next week. We're glad he is on the same team as our friend, Megan B. Deep breaths. The sports whirlwind is starting. This Saturday is their last swim lesson, and they're all excited to show me what they know. Miss A is fine. Starting 2's early and getting very chatty with new words every day and some phrases. "This is Jackie!" and "There's a car!" (every time she hears one drive by...)

E: Working and trying so hard to keep me sane.
Me: Fairly overwhelmed with my to do list right now. Dreaming about housecleaning all night and then having to get up and actually do it.

Love you all. Maybe our phone really will be fixed by the end of next week. :)

Free wheeling

Last week was red letter for TW! With a little help from Mom, TJ and Scooby Doo (Scooby Doo is the courage and balance enhancing bike-learning song, thanks to Aunt Mel) he threw off the shackles of training wheels and learned how to ride his bike. (And it was not lost on him that he learned while he was still 5 and someone else in our house was 6....) Woohoo! Freedom! He's loving it and gets faster and better each time he goes out (which is every chance he gets). Here are a few pictures of the feat. I have a video, but haven't taken time to upload it yet. Maybe soon.

When it comes right down to it....
...it's all in the way....
...you hold....
....your mouth!

Way to go Timbo!

Syrupy Drinks

What does Miss A do to entertain herself while we're working on school????? "Mom!!!!!!!!!!! A is drinking the syrup!!".....

Tasty!

Spills? NO PROBLEM!

No wonder I'm crazy. Finishing math with a hyped up one year old was quite fun. The downside (for a girl) to (maple) syrupy drinks in the morning? Sugar lows force early naptime.

3rd Day of Skiing

How much fun can two boys have in a day?!

TJ's hockey stop....and he now has poles!

TW is doing great. Caution: May make you motion sick.....

Mugs

Do you think they'd let us back in the country?

Tickle, tickle!
