It's all over but the parties....

Now that our season is done (except the pizza parties) I'm finally posting some fall soccer pictures. This was TW's first time to play, and though he was a little shy, he loved it and LOVED Coach Mooney. He made one breakaway goal and was so proud (especially since TJ has never made a "goalie") His group was all fun and no stress for us--in one game, a little girl even picked the ball up and moved it over after she missed a goal so she could try again. Pure fun!

All Dressed Up

My friend, Jen, and her kids went to a wedding last week, and since she's in between cameras and needed a Christmas card picture, I volunteered to take one for her. We had about 15 minutes in the cold, but the kids were great. Aren't they handsome and beautiful! Merry Christmas!

My boys were so jealous when they saw how dressed up J and Z were--TJ said Z was the luckiest because he had a whole suit--and it was just like a tuxedo!

TW: "I know another one: 'What would an orange do if he was hungry?""
Me: "I don't know, what?"
TW: "I don't know--He'd pour himself some cereal and buy some bananas!'"

TJ: "Those aren't even funny! It would be funnier if he'd said, 'What if a banana ran out of food?--He'd go buy some bananas!--Now that would be funnier!"

Life Around Here

I thought I'd post a few random shots of what's been camera-worthy from life lately:

Dragon's Birthday: TW decided it was Dragon's birthday. (Dragon is our favorite resident stuffed turtle--who, like his pal, TW, may be cute and cuddly on the outside, on the inside has the brave heart of a dragon...How's that for waxing Mom philosophical?) TW wrapped a present for him and made sure he had a good birthday breakfast--thankfully he decided Dragon would be satisfied with eggs and toast rather than requiring strawberry whipped cream waffles.

Stuck: Another form of a dragon trying to escape the castle through the little door, rather than the open roof.

Nesting: TJ is big into making nests for them all to cozy up and watch TV in.

Bookshelf fun: It's so fun to climb through! Don't worry--if the books are in the way, just pull them off and throw them aside.

Bottles: Most people wean their kids from bottles at age 1; I start them at age 1.


Goofballs: Waiting to eat at one of our favorite Italian restaurants, we were thankful these goofballs had plenty of room to goof around.

Now, back to school teacher mode. No picture for that!
