Miss K

While we were in Colorado this summer, I also got to hang out with and take pictures of my sweet niece, Miss K. She was almost too excited to get her picture taken part of the time and Aunt Kendra had to almost stand on her head to get her to smile the rest....ahhh....the great age of 3! Here are a couple of the less precocious shots. I had fun with you Miss K! Thanks for being my model! I love you,cutie!

Reality Check

Just so I don't get too sickly sweet on here, I thought I'd do a little reality check post and let you know that Miss A has had her first experience with getting in trouble for being a brat. A few evenings ago, TW and I were playing "Guess Who?" (his favorite game) and she was trying to mess with his side of the game. When he wouldn't let her, she made a mean face at him and tried to punch him in the eye (totally shocking TW). When she got in trouble by me for it, she then made an ugly face at me and tried to punch me...sigh...here we go! (Her brothers are quite fascinated and I think secretly a little thrilled that she can actually get in trouble.)

She's also taken to yelling "MAAAMAAA!" when she's not happy--when someone won't give her what she wants, or like this morning, when I was giving J a good morning hug and she was jealous. Did I ever mention how she screams for coffee cups?...and ice cream?...and popsicles???

Yes, she is a real girl.

Toad-a-rama

Toads and frogs seem to love the cool, easy digging in our sandbox--that is until the boys discover them. One day last week they found three, much to their delight (the boys', not the toads'). At least none have turned up in their pockets....yet....


The most amazing thing about these photos? Their fingernails are actually clean!
