Just couldn't resist....

I should be putting my kids to bed before our big day tomorrow, but I couldn't resist putting a few pictures of Miss A up tonight. These are from her 10 month photo shoot that I did myself(one down, thirteen to go to pay for my camera and software....). Of course, she is cute in all of them, but I'm especially liking these tonight. The quilt is the beautiful one my mom made for her and her sweet dress was made and embroidered by my good friend, Holly. She's well loved.

Beach Buddies

I still haven't had much time to work on this, and probably shouldn't be doing this now, but thought I'd at least share a couple of beach picture with you. Our beach buddies are my friend, Jen's, kids--I think this was the 4th year we've been to the beach together. Fun, fun! (And a lot to keep track of!) I have lots of cute action shots, but will have to save those for another time.....

Walkway and Sorry!

E's parents have been here twice this summer and have yet to make an appearance in this blog. So sorry! We really do love you! They have been much fun and have given us all lots of help and love. One big project we worked on during their first visit was a new walkway from our side porch to the front door. Not pro, but pretty good for our first try!

Hello

Hello! We're back from the beach--we had a great time. I need to post some pictures soon, but am figuring out my photo software and am having a busy week....so maybe by the end of the week I can get some posted...In the meantime, I'm loving this one of Miss A so I'm sharing it. This is a very common expression of hers. It's so fun to see her little personality coming through. I have more from this photo session to post, too, but again, you'll have to wait!

10 month noises...and a few others

Beans, Beans

We're so proud.

Although, I was the one who taught it to him, so I guess I really am proud--he practiced it about 10 times in his bed that night until he had it. This came after a discussion of the effects of beans on your body. Sigh...I guess I figure I might as well embrace the fact that they're boys and go ahead and teach them some things to impress their friends with. (Sorry to all their friends' moms who read this!)

So sad!

She's starting early.

She does this when she gets mad or gets her feelings hurt. I took a ball away from her in the bath the other day and she started bawling and began to put her head down, then realized she was in the tub...I have to say I laughed. :)

Their second and last run, caught on video by Grandpa on his camera.
