Pretty in Pink....and Blue

A has been enjoying Grandma and Grandad's visit this week (read: spoiled). She's very smiley these days and we almost got a laugh out of her yesterday. 3 months already...sigh...

Friends!

Mel, Jeremy and Kyra are here this week--yea!!! We're having a great time hanging out--swapping babies, eating, wrestling, eating, bugging Jeremy, eating. Here are a few random pictures from this week and last. Oh--and by the way, we are all feeling much better. Thank you, God!

BFFs!
and already trading clothes...A gave Kyra her skinny jeans and Kyra gave A her short ones...poor A!

TW can't decide which baby to kiss first..but he's pretty sweet on Kyra...we decided it's okay to want to kiss other girls more than your sister.

Nice belly! No wonder she had to give up the skinny jeans!

It's a seat, it's a stool, it's a funny hat...no, it's a bumbo!

Toothless!

TJ lost another tooth today--#6--using his favorite tooth-pulling tool: a popsicle. One of his top ones has broken through, though, so he won't be so cute and snaggle-toothed for long.

In other news, A weighed 12 lb 9 oz at her two month check up yesterday. She's quite a cuddly chunk! She's really cooing and grinning a lot these days. The boys really light up if she smiles at them and so are constantly vying for her affection.

We also need your prayers for our health and sanity. We're battling a crud that has so far affected everyone except A (thankfully) and in the past two weeks has given various members of the family vomiting, diarrhea, headaches, body aches, sore throats, bad coughs, the need for a chest x-ray, ear infections (3), varying levels of fever, snot, laryngitis (it's actually quite comical to hear E try to yell at one of the boys), and much fatigue and general grouchiness. 5 prescriptions and a bottle and a half of children's ibuprofen later, I feel like a walking pharmacy. We're sick of being sick!! Plus TJ needs to go back to school--he's missed 6 days because of this. Please pray for our bodies and our sanity. Thank you!

Happy Sad Halloween

Our Halloween "Super Hittle Quartet" sadly ended up being only a dynamic duo. TJ came home from school exhausted and by trick-or-treat time had a fever of 103.7. He didn't even put his costume on. He was so, so sad and upset--"I can't wait until next year!!"--(Trick-or-treating ranks right up there with birthdays and Christmas) that I had to fight back the tears, too. The baby had her costume on briefly, but there was so much disappointed drama going on that I didn't even take her picture. TW and J had a GREAT time with their papa, Janis and Aliyah trick-or-treating, though, and came home and shared the loot. Maybe they'll all have their costumes on together soon and I can at least get a picture of what it would have been like....(that's actually a very likely scenario at our house).

Flash!

TJ watching Speed Racer and sampling some of the spoils. At least as a consolation prize we got to watch a movie geared directly to 7-10 year old boys.
